Hellooo

Post by Annie »

Hiya folks,

Got me a Largo...all chuft to bits....thats until it started to fall to bits....
Ok, thats not totally true but I am having hideous probs with the gearbox
Ive fixed a few wee bits and bobs...no prob with that...but gearbox is remaining a mystery...after about 15 - 20 mins of van running lovely it starts dropping out of overdrive and wont go back into overdrive until I slow down to 40mph (3rd gear?) ...it will do this repeatedly for a bit then it will run fine again....even more annoying is that its 'intermittent' so when it went into the gearbox specialists they could find nothing wrong with it...its making me sad as I really want to enjoying driving my new (old) car....

Anyways....hiya just the same

Also try cleaning the electrical connectors with contact cleaner.
