center console

hi there - just got myself a 96 highway star petrol auto - need to check a few things out on it and everywhere i go it says remove center console to access engine bay power steering fluid etc etc .... my question is how do you remove the center console?

TWO bolts rear console under lid,two were cups go under rubber pad,Remove snow/power switch panel two screws in there then pull off brown panel left of ashtray 1 screw there pull back shifter into drive ign on then there is a wire to dissconnect for light in ashtray then lift off
