hi im new to this forum i own a 96 diesel largo and the head needs removing and skimming i live in france and have been quoted 2k please tell me this is over the top ?? :o :o :o

sounds alot to me. but the heads tend to crack so may need a new one or good secondhand.
most of that 2k is probably labour charges :?

mine was the same cracked in every bore cheaper to get a second hand lump in
nissan primera same year 2.0 td are same may need to swap sump ect also got a few quotes on part finder range from £200 - 400 for whole lump

there are a few largos on ebay breaking might be worth asking them if the engines are any good if not find a nissan primera cd20 engine and change the sump so it will fit
or an import serena they have the cd 20 engine in them
