Hi and welcome, If you have the petrol model then it's possible that its catching on the front cover. I would check that first.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and good advice. I'm no mechanic so will have to get my mate to have a look and kind of do a process of elimination on it.
And yes, it wouldn't be so bad if the brakes didn't go with it. Both times it happened on the motorway....yikes!!!!

Hi from the isle of man i just wondered if you might be able to help me out  the fan belt tensioner bearing on my largo is knackered so i need either a new tensioner pulley or a new bearing to fit the pulley but cant find either anywhere do you know where i might get either of them if so please email me at dids135@gmx.com
